Job summary

Convergint Technologies LLC is seeking an energetic Electrical Installer for a full-time onsite role in the Austin area. You will install, program, test, repair, and service a variety of systems including security, fire alarm and life safety, while collaborating with customers and internal teams.

You’ll interpret schematics, use test instruments and hand tools, and grow through our trade program. A valid driver’s license and strong customer service mindset are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Experience installing and wiring access control, cameras, door hardware, panels, and programming additions.
• Solid understanding of blueprints, wiring diagrams and system plans.
• Ability to read manuals and schematics and use test instruments and hand tools.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Install, program, test, repair, and service security, fire/life safety, and building automation systems with minimal guidance.
• Interpret manuals and wiring diagrams and repair equipment utilizing electronics knowledge.
• Provide installation support and training to customers and colleagues.
• Take ownership of onsite projects focusing on safety, quality and performance.
