Job summary

Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.

Qualifications

• Electrical inspector licensure within 3 months of hire.
• NM CID/State requirements for general building inspector (C.I.D./NMAC).
• Evidence-based substitutions may apply under policy; bilingual ability optional.

Responsibilities

• Inspect buildings for electrical code compliance during construction/remodeling.
• Analyze changes of use/occupancy; propose compliant alternatives.
• Determine damage, safety factors, and required permits for repair.
• Inspect to ensure compliance with codes and regulations.
• Prepare reports and maintain inspection/permit records.
• Coordinate and schedule inspection requests for permits.
• Provide quality customer service.
