The role serves as a technical resource to the construction community, architects, engineers, and owners representatives, coordinating with multiple departments to ensure compliance with safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Reviews and inspects design, construction, alteration, demolition, and repair under MSBC.
• Enforces Minnesota Electrical Code provisions across University properties.
• Acts as liaison to University departments and as code advisor to architects and engineers.
