Job summary

Construction Association of Michigan is seeking an Electrical Inspector to perform field inspections and conduct plan reviews for both new and existing electrical systems. The role ensures compliance with the Michigan Electrical Code, township ordinances, and relevant state regulations.

The ideal candidate will hold a Michigan Journeyman Electrician license and prefer an associate or bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, electrical technology, or public administration.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Valid Michigan Journeyman Electrician license.
• 5+ years active electrical trade experience per Michigan PA 407.
• Eligible for MI Registration as Electrical Inspector and Plan Reviewer under PA 407 within 30 days of hire.
• Associate or bachelor’s degree preferred in related field.

Responsibilities
