Job summary

Qualifications

Equivalent combination of 9 years of education and experience after high school.
Education and experience must be in the electrical field, with at least 3 years of inspections experience.
Valid NH Master Electrician license and valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

Perform construction plan reviews to verify state building and fire code compliance.
Inspect residential, commercial and industrial electrical installations and alterations.
Investigate suspected electrical code violations and provide testimony as needed.
Document code violations and prepare detailed inspection reports for follow-up.
Assist local fire officials with inspections and provide technical interpretations of the codes.
