Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree is a plus
• 3 years of proven experience in inside sales, preferably in the product or technical product space
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with ability to clearly convey information and product details
• Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Knowledge of electrical products and industry trends
• Technical aptitude for interpreting technical drawings, schematics, and bills of material
• Analytical skills to extract and synthesize relevant information from complex technical documentation

Responsibilities

• Reach out to potential customers to present electrical products and solutions
• Respond to customer inquiries, provide quotes, and negotiate pricing
• Maintain and update customer database in CRM software
• Collaborate with the sales team to meet and exceed sales targets
• Stay up-to-date on industry trends and new product offerings
• Provide excellent customer service before and after the sale
• Communicate clearly and effectively in both verbal conversations and written correspondence (emails, quotes, proposals)
• Process orders, returns, etc
• Handle customer concerns and complaints professionally
• Review and analyze technical drawings, specifications, and bills of material to identify customer requirements and recommend appropriate solutions
• Extract critical information from project documentation to ensure accurate product selection and pricing
• Serve as the primary point of contact and inside sales representative for assigned manufacturers
• Maintain ongoing relationships with manufacturer partners, serving as their internal advocate and liaison
• Communicate new product launches, pricing updates, and strategic initiatives from manufacturers to internal sales team
• Monitor and report on manufacturer performance, market positioning, and competitive landscape
• Coordinate with manufacturers on training opportunities, promotional campaigns, and sales support materials
