Job summary

MasTec Industrial is seeking an Electrical Helper II for Rapid City, SD. You will assist in installing electrical systems under the supervision of journeymen and foremen, handling conduit, wiring, and related components on industrial projects.

The role emphasizes safety, adherence to NEC, and collaboration with electrical crews. Expect 50-hour weeks and extensive travel to project sites across North America.

Qualifications

• 3-4 years related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• NCCER Certification/License (preferred).
• Minimum 3 years of experience in electrical helper IV role.

Responsibilities

• Install raceway systems to project standards.
• Measure, cut, bend, thread, assemble and install conduit; weld supports; install cable/duct banks.
• Pull wire, connect wiring to fixtures and equipment.
• Install small electrical equipment and supports.
• Attend safety meetings and complete daily safety paperwork.
• Demonstrate safety as a top priority.
• Read and interpret safety rules and manuals.
• Follow project specifications and safety/quality standards.
• Look for ways to improve safety, quality, and productivity.
• Install systems neatly and professionally.
