Job summary

MasTec, Inc. is hiring an Electrical Helper IV to support the installation of electrical systems on project sites under supervision. You will install raceway systems, conduit, wiring, and small electrical equipment per project specs and NEC basics.

The role requires 3–4 years of related electrical experience, NCCER certification preferred, and travel up to 90% to project sites. It is a full-time position with 50-hour weeks and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• 3-4 years related electrical experience or training
• NCCER certification preferred
• Experience as electrical helper IV

Responsibilities

• Installations of Raceway Systems to meet project production standards
• Measures, cuts, bends, threads, assembles, and installs electrical conduit; weld supports; install cable and duct banks
• May be required to pull wire through conduit; connect wiring to lighting fixtures and power equipment
• Installation of small electrical equipment and supports
• Attend safety meetings and complete safety paperwork on a daily basis
• Demonstrate safety as a top priority
• Read and interpret NEC and basic electrical system documents
• Learn project specifications and install electrical systems to those standards
• Support safety, quality, and productivity improvements
