Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering (minimum).
• 2+ years experience in Electronics design within a relevant industry.
• Familiarity with analog hardware design and troubleshooting, DFMEA, tolerance stack up, and hands-on failure analysis.
• Digital design experience, including microcontroller selection, digital communication protocols, and power budget calculations.
• Board level bring up and troubleshooting hands-on experience with oscilloscope, probes, DMM, spectrum analyzer, and VNA.
• Schematic capture and PCB design experience using Altium Designer a plus.
• Circuit simulation with LTSpice or similar a plus.

Responsibilities

• Implement wireless connectivity hardware for professional power tool products.
• Learn product development milestones from concept through design, manufacturing, and life cycle.
• Work with cross-functional teams to design new products and improve production techniques.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, schematics, and reports.
• Build and test prototypes with technicians to validate designs.
• Identify and communicate major technical and schedule issues to leaders clearly and promptly.
