Job summary

Northrop Grumman Space Systems is seeking an Electrical Engineer 2 for EGSE at our Chandler, AZ facility. The role involves design, test, and sustainment of electrical ground support equipment used in vehicle integration and launch.

The team works across the lifecycle with a focus on EGSE and test support hardware. Applicants should have experience in EGSE, design reviews, and secure environment operations. Strong collaboration and safety focus are required.

Qualifications

• Requires 2 years with a Bachelor's in Engineering or 0 years with a Master's in Engineering.
• Ability to obtain U.S. Government Secret Clearance at time of application.
• U.S. Citizenship is required.
• Proficient knowledge of electrical engineering principles.
• Design, Test, or Integration experience with EGSE or similar equipment.
• Experience with processes applicable to operating EGSE in secure environments.

Responsibilities

• Work with a system electrical engineering team to perform analysis, design, and test of complex system-level designs for EGSE/test support equipment.
• Prepare and present electrical engineering materials for Requirements and Design Reviews.
• Study basic design concepts and criteria for complex problems with minimal guidance.
• Contribute to internal and external customer service and team decisions.
• Derive requirements from multiple sources of documentation and design meetings.
• Support safety as a priority in all aspects of the role.
