Job summary

Northrop Grumman Space Systems is seeking an Engineering Technician to join our Electrical Ground Support Equipment group in Chandler, AZ. You will support the design, test, and sustainment of EGSE and test equipment used in vehicle integration and launch.

The role requires reading electrical schematics, managing drawings and BOMs, and coordinating with engineers to implement changes. A DoD Secret clearance and US citizenship are required for this position.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent and 4 years of additional education and/or related experience.
• Active DoD Secret Clearance is required.
• U.S. Citizenship is required.
• Preferred: Associates degree in related field.

Responsibilities

• Support engineering with the formatting and release of engineering documentation.
• Manage the drawing release cycle and drive the process to completion.
• Coordinate with engineering to incorporate changes identified during peer review.
• Format engineering drawings per CAD standards.
• Review BOMs for accuracy against drawings.
• Train technicians and engineers on the drawing release process.
• Maintain PSL for Electrical Ground Support Equipment.
