Siemens Energy invites early-career engineers to join the Engineering Career Acceleration Program (ECAP), an 18-month rotational development track focused on the transmission industry. Participants rotate across Raleigh, NC, Richland, MS, and other US sites, exploring Switchgear, Transformers, High Voltage Substations, Solutions, and Service.

Participants gain practical engineering experience while learning from internal experts, developing leadership and project management skills, and expanding

Qualifications

• By June 2027, you will have a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering (preferred) or closely related field.
• You demonstrate a genuine interest in the electric grid and its ongoing transformation.
• You are interested in developing skills in power grid-focused engineering, project management, business development, and field service.
• You're a curious, self-driven leader with sharp organizational skills and a passion for innovation.
• You have strong communication skills and are eager to enhance verbal, written, and presentation abilities for business purposes.
• Ability to travel, as required for rotations and relocation based on track, upon completion of the program.
• Fall 2026 recruitment timeline includes a virtual interview event in Oct/Nov with offers in Nov/Dec.

Responsibilities

• Participate in three rotational assignments in Raleigh, NC, and Richland, MS, and sites across the US, depending on track.
• Use fundamental engineering concepts, practices, and procedures to complete assignments while learning the business.
• Gain product knowledge and learn the complexities of the Transmission Industry and current customer landscape.
• Build a powerful professional network and accelerate your personal growth.
