Siemens Energy invites early-career engineers to join the Engineering Career Acceleration Program (ECAP), an 18-month rotational development track focused on the transmission industry. Participants rotate across Raleigh, NC, Richland, MS, and other US sites, exploring Switchgear, Transformers, High Voltage Substations, Solutions, and Service.

Qualifications

• By June 2027, you will have a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering (preferred) or closely related field.
• You demonstrate a genuine interest in the electric grid and its ongoing transformation.
• You are interested in developing skills in power grid-focused engineering, project management, business development, and field service.
• You're a curious, self-driven leader with sharp organizational skills and a passion for innovation.
• You have strong communication skills and are eager to enhance verbal, written, and presentation abilities for business purposes.
• Ability to travel, as required for rotations and relocation based on track, upon completion of the program.
• Fall 2026 recruitment timeline includes a virtual interview event in Oct/Nov with offers in Nov/Dec.

ECAP is an 18-month rotational development program for earlycareer engineers focused on the transmission industry. Our program offers fourtracks: Generalist, Manufacturing, Control & Protection and SubstationEngineering. All tracks rotate through Raleigh, NC, Richland, MS and sitesacross the US, as applicable. Program participants will also participate infour formal learnings, which provide access to our internal industry experts,to further their education and confidence!

How You’ll Make an Impact

• Duringthis 18-month program you will participate in three rotational assignmentsin Raleigh, NC, and Richland, MS, as well as sites across the US,depending on the track. The areas of business include Switchgear,Transformers, High Voltage Substations, Solutions and Service.

• Youwill use fundamental engineering concepts, practices, and procedures tocomplete assignments while learning about the business. This training willhelp prepare you for several roles within the business (typical roles mayinclude Application Engineering, Project Engineering, Product Design,Field Service, Digitalization, Project Management, Job Site Safety,Business Development, etc.).

What You Bring

• By June2027, you will have a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering(preferred), power systems engineering, mechanical engineering, civilengineering, industrial engineering, structural engineering, constructionmanagement, or a tightly related field.

• You demonstrate a genuine interest in the electric grid and its ongoing transformation.

• Youare interested in developing your skills in power grid-focusedengineering, project management, business development, and field servicesubject areas.

• You'rea curious, self-driven leader with sharp organizational skills, passionateabout leveraging resources and inspiring innovation to solve complexchallenges.

• Youhave strong communication skills and are eager to enhance your verbal,written, and presentation abilities for business purposes.

• Abilityto travel, as required for the rotations and relocation, based on track,upon completion of the program.

• We arecurrently recruiting for our next class, which will commence in June 2027.Our Fall 2026 recruitment timeline includes a virtual interview event tobe held in October/November timeframe with offers to successful candidatesin the November/December timeframe.
