Job summary

Primoris Renewable Energy, a division of Primoris Services Corporation, seeks a General Foreman to oversee on-site supervision of Foremen and technical leads on electrical construction projects. You will ensure safety, productivity, and quality while controlling costs, with coordination across subcontractors and the Owner.

Relocation to project sites is required; you will mentor field staff, manage schedules, and enforce relevant codes and safety standards on HV installations and substations.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver license and an acceptable MVR.
• Ability to manage and supervise multiple employees.
• Thorough knowledge of tools and equipment uses and limitations.
• Good communication skills to deal with owners and employees.
• Relocation to community of project site is required.
• May be required to become qualified in pursuit of a company contract licensing or journeyman/master electrician license.
• Ability to read and understand prints and contract documents.
• Knows Federal and state codes for the project.
• Experience in utility-scale BESS, substation, high voltage, solar or related construction management.

Responsibilities

• Supervises and sets direction for all Foremen and technical leads on-site to ensure best use of all company resources; and adherence to all company policies and regulations.
• Provides formal coaching feedback to Foremen and informal feedback to Field Engineers.
• Schedules equipment, materials and tools to maximize production and minimize costs.
• Collaborates with Trade Superintendent on all scheduled activities.
• Manages and implements standardized Work Plans and Work Methods.
• Acts as a technical consultant to field personnel in electrical circuits, power quality, and high voltage terminations.
• Ensures safe working conditions and safety procedures on the project.
• Enforces safety regulations and addresses concerns with Trade Superintendent.
• Plans staffing and hires trade employees with proper utilization of resources.
• Maintains project specifications and craftsmanship expectations with all workers.
