Qualifications

• Valid Journeyman Electrician license (or equivalent) required.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a licensed electrician, with at least 2 years in a foreman or supervisory role.
• Extensive knowledge of the NEC and other electrical standards.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and mentor a team of electricians, apprentices, and laborers on solar farm construction sites.
• Plan, lay out, and oversee all aspects of electrical installations including conduit bending, cable pulling, wire termination, and equipment hookups.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and electrical code specifications to ensure compliant installations.
• Conduct daily safety meetings and enforce safety protocols in line with OSHA and company standards.
• Perform quality control inspections and rectify deficiencies.
• Coordinate with project managers, superintendents, and other trades for smooth progress.
• Manage and track material usage, equipment, and tools on site.
• Troubleshoot electrical issues and implement effective solutions.
• Prepare daily progress reports and resource utilization summaries.
• Train and develop team members to foster a skilled workforce.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal electrical codes.
