Job summary

Primoris Renewable Energy is seeking an on-site General Foreman to supervise Foremen and technical leads, ensure safe and productive execution, and control costs in the field.

You will schedule labor, materials, tools, and equipment, mentor field staff, and ensure alignment with project specs and contract requirements across high/medium voltage electrical work and substation projects.

Qualifications

• Valid driver license and acceptable MVR.
• Ability to supervise multiple employees.
• Thorough knowledge of tools and equipment uses.
• Good communication with owners and employees.
• Relocation to project site required.
• Possible pursuit of contractor licensing or journeyman/master electrician license.
• Ability to read prints and contract documents.
• Knowledge of relevant federal/state codes.
• Experience in utility-scale BESS, substation, HV, solar or related construction management.

Responsibilities

• Directs Foremen and leads on-site to optimize resources and comply with policies and regulations.
• Schedule equipment, materials, and tools to maximize production and minimize costs.
• Develops and implements standardized Work Plans and Methods; supports process improvement.
• Acts as technical consultant on electrical systems, switchgear, and high voltage terminations.
• Ensure safe work conditions and enforce safety regulations on site.
• Communicate project status to Trade Superintendent and assist with staffing decisions.
• Mentor Field Coordinators, Engineers, and Foremen on scope, cost, quality, and safety.
