Job summary

Comfort Systems USA is seeking an experienced Foreman Electrician to oversee a crew of Helpers, Apprentices and Journeyman electricians on commercial and industrial projects in Dalton, GA. You will lead, train, mentor and evaluate the team to ensure safe, on-time installation and quality workmanship.

Responsibilities include coordinating manpower, reading blueprints and specs, measuring and installing conduit, and ensuring work complies with NEC standards.

Qualifications

• 7–10 years of electrical construction experience on commercial/industrial sites.
• Ability to lead, mentor and coach a team of ~5 workers.
• Understand small scope of work and communicate across trades.
• Read and interpret project specs, blueprints and schematics.
• Develop schedules and ensure work aligns with NEC and contract requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor Journeyman, Helpers and Apprentices on the job site.
• Work alongside the crew and ensure high-quality workmanship.
• Develop manpower schedules for the team.
• Create material lists from layouts and job-site demands.
• Help achieve production and budget goals through effective communication.
• Ensure all crew work complies with NEC and local guidelines.
• Measure, cut, bend, thread, assemble and install conduit.
• Install electrical devices, fixtures and panel boards.
• Read project drawings and lay out work from electrical plans.
• Perform basic troubleshooting of lighting and power circuits.
