Job summary

Comfort Systems USA seeks a Foreman Electrician in Prestonsburg, KY to lead a crew of Helpers, Apprentices and Journeymen on commercial/industrial projects. You will install, alter and repair electrical systems while mentoring your team and ensuring safety and quality on site.

Responsibilities include coordinating manpower, reading blueprints, performing field layouts with Trimble equipment, and delivering projects on time while complying with NEC guidelines and company standards.

Qualifications

• 7-10 years of electrical construction experience in commercial/industrial settings.
• Ability to lead, mentor and coach a team of ~5 workers.
• Strong understanding of drawings, specs and project documents.
• Aptitude for coordinating schedules and materials on site.
• Awareness of NEC guidelines and safe work practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead Journeyman, Apprentices and Helpers on the job site and ensure quality workmanship.
• Read and interpret blueprints, specs and schematics for project execution.
• Develop manpower schedules and communicate needs to supervision.
• Perform field layout and sizing using Trimble equipment and software when required.
• Maintain safety and compliance with local codes and company policies.
