Job summary

Comfort Systems USA seeks a Foreman Electrician to oversee a crew of Helpers, Apprentices and Journeyman electricians on commercial and industrial projects in Kentucky. You will lead, train, and mentor the team while coordinating on-site electrical installation, alterations and repairs.

Candidates should have 7–10 years of electrical construction experience, strong leadership, and the ability to read blueprints and collaborate with other trades to meet schedule and safety standards.

Qualifications

• 7–10 years of electrical construction experience in commercial/industrial settings.
• Demonstrates leadership and ability to coach a five-person crew.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specs, and schematics.
• Communicates with other trades and supervisors effectively.
• Familiar with field layout and material coordination.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor Journeyman, Helpers, and Apprentices on site
• Ensure high-quality work by crew
• Develop effective manpower schedules
• Create material lists from layouts and job demands
• Drive production and budget goals; communicate plan to team
• Ensure work complies with local and NEC guidelines
• Measure, cut, bend, thread, install conduit with tools
• Install/terminate devices, panels, conductors
• Demonstrate knowledge of circuitry
• Read specs, blueprints, schematics
• Lay out work from drawings, including underground
• Perform field layout with Trimble tools
• Size wires, conduits, boxes accurately
• Troubleshoot lighting/power circuits
