Job summary

Bergelectric Corp. is seeking a focused Foreman to supervise electrical crews on construction sites in Texas. You will ensure work aligns with Bergelectric standards, project specifications, and NEC codes while coordinating with general contractors and customers.

The role requires managing labor, scheduling, procurement, safety, and quality control, with emphasis on productivity and cost control. Strong communication and leadership are essential for successful project delivery.

Qualifications

• Minimum two to four years field experience as Journeyman Electrician.
• Experience ordering and tracking materials, cost projections and as-builts.
• Strong scheduling, lead times, and installation duration knowledge.
• Solid understanding of electrical codes and installation methods.
• Proficient in power systems, lighting, fire protection and data networks.
• Experience with control panels and single-line diagrams.
• Ability to verify compliance and functionality of installations.
• Knowledge of fault identification and repair of electrical apparatus and circuits.

Responsibilities

• Achieve productivity objectives by managing and assigning tasks to crew members and maintaining labor logs.
• Establish project goals and monitor success to achieve them.
• Manage purchase orders and ensure materials are received per procedures.
• Adhere to contract changes, policies, and notice-to-proceed processes.
• Utilize prefabrication facilities and company installation methods.
• Ensure safety equipment, materials and tools are onsite for work.
• Provide proper notice to Superintendent for crew changes.
• Proactively anticipate and resolve potential issues.
• Ensure crews start and finish on time and manage meal/break times.
• Conduct performance evaluations for crew members.
• Maintain accurate as-builts per Bergelectric procedures.
• Communicate effectively with project owners, architects, GCs, and management.
• Ensure work meets NEC, codes and contract documents.
• Adhere to safety policies and contribute to teamwork.
• Monitor crew morale and positive outcomes.
• Comply with Bergelectric Employee Handbook.
