Job summary

Bergelectric Corp. in Denver seeks an Electrical General Foreman to lead field crews, supervise installation of electrical systems, and ensure work meets project specs and safety standards.

You will coordinate with project managers, estimate labor needs, and maintain accurate as-builts and documentation. The role requires 3–5 years as Electrical Foreman/General Foreman, a Journeyman Wireman license where required, and strong knowledge of NFPA codes, wiring methods, and power systems

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3–5 years as Electrical Foreman/General Foreman on commercial/industrial projects.
• Journeyman Wireman license required where applicable.
• Advanced ability to read electrical plans and NFPA code knowledge.
• Proven track record leading sub-Foremen on projects.
• Experience managing private or public sector electrical construction.
• Strong knowledge of electrical codes and installation methods.
• Well-versed in lighting, fire protection, security and data networks installations.
• Experience with control panels build, install and maintenance.
• Proficient with single-line electrical diagrams.
• Ability to verify installations for compliance and functionality.
• Skilled in ordering/tracking materials and developing as-builts.
• Solid scheduling, material lead times, and installation duration knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Supervise all field production activities and assist Foreman with planning and staffing.
• Collaborate with Project Managers and Superintendents to set and monitor project goals.
• Review labor efficiency, hours, and projections; maintain the project schedule.
• Monitor codes, specifications, and installation methods for compliance.
• Prepare, review, and maintain installation documentation and as-built records.
• Provide leadership to sub-Foremen and guide crew performance.
• Track materials and costs to minimize overruns and optimize expenses.
• Achieve productivity objectives by effective task assignment and communication.
• Proactively identify and resolve potential project issues.
• Ensure safety equipment and tools are onsite and compliant with policies.
• Maintain accurate as-builts per Bergelectric procedures.
• Communicate with owners, architects, GC, and management clearly.
• Adhere to contract changes and change order procedures; follow company safety policies.
• Ensure work complies with NEC and local/state codes; foster teamwork.
• Monitor crew morale and ensure positive outcomes across tasks.
