Job summary

Amteck seeks an experienced Foreman Electrician to lead a crew of Helpers, Apprentices and Journeyman electricians on commercial and industrial projects in New York. You will install, troubleshoot, and coordinate electrical work while ensuring safety, quality, and on-schedule performance.

You will mentor team members, read blueprints and project documents, and collaborate with supervision to plan manpower and material lists, maintaining NEC standards and company guidelines.

Qualifications

• 7-10 years of electrical construction experience in commercial/industrial settings.
• Ability to lead, mentor, and coach a team of ~5 electricians.
• Strong reading of blueprints and project documents.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor Journeyman, Helpers and Apprentices on the job site.
• Ensure quality of work to the highest standards.
• Develop manpower schedules for the team.
• Create material lists from layouts and job site demands.
• Help meet production and budget goals with clear communication.
• Ensure all work complies with local codes and NEC guidelines.
• Read project specs, blueprints, and schematics.
