Job summary

Canyon State Electric in Globe, AZ is seeking a full-time Foreman 1 to coordinate operations and supervise electricians on construction sites. The Foreman 1 is the reference for workers and supervisors, requiring strong leadership, organization, and a safety-first mindset.

Qualifications

3+ years of commercial/industrial foreman electrical experience.
Experience on data center and high-rise projects preferred.
Experience leading crews of 20+ employees.
Advanced abilities at reading plans, submittals, and specifications.
Knowledge of NFPA 70 and current electrical codes.
Experience with power systems installation and data networks.

Responsibilities

Supervise field production activities to achieve quality, efficiency, morale and teamwork.
Ensure work meets standards and project specs, managing labor, materials and production.
Create material Buy-Out before job begins.
Plan work and labor for at least 3 weeks.
Complete as-builts and order material weekly.
File daily reports and incidents.
Manage close-out processes and site cost control.
Coordinate with PM team and customer/GC.
Draft RFIs and submit to PM team.
Enforce safety and HR policies; perform discipline as needed.
Enter and approve timecards for crew.
