Job summary

Canyon State Electric in Tempe, AZ is seeking a full-time General Foreman to coordinate operations and oversee electricians at construction sites. You will be the reference point for workers and supervisors, driving project success with a safety-first mindset.

The ideal candidate has strong leadership and a solid background in electrical construction, with the ability to make quick decisions. Experience with data centers or high-rise projects is a plus; Canyon State Electric offers ESOP,

Qualifications

5+ years of commercial/industrial foreman electrical experience.
Experience in data centers and high-rise projects preferred.
Experience leading crews of 20+ employees.
Advanced abilities in reading plans, submittals, and specifications.
In-depth knowledge of NFPA 70 and current electrical codes and installation methods.

Responsibilities

Supervise field production to obtain top quality workmanship, efficiency, morale and teamwork.
Ensure work is performed according to company standards and project specs including planning and managing labor, materials, and production on electrical projects.
Create a material Buy-Out before the job begins.
Plan work and labor requirements for the project for at least 3 weeks.
Complete As-Built Drawings and order materials weekly.
File daily reports and report all incidents.
Manage all project Close-Out processes and budget control.
Communicate with Project Management and customer/General Contractor.
Draft RFIs and submit to PM team.
Enforce HR/safety policies and perform disciplinary action as needed.
Enter and approve timecards for the assigned crew.
