Moore's Electrical and Mechanical is seeking an Electrical Foreman to lead the install of assigned electrical projects in Charlottesville and surrounding areas. You will train apprentices and helpers, supervise crews, and ensure safety and quality.

The role requires a strong electrical background, blueprint reading, and the ability to work with customers. Weekly pay, ESOP ownership, and comprehensive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Journeyman or Master electrician license preferred.
• Valid driver's license and dependable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Supervise personnel completing electrical building projects.
• Assign tasks, inspect work, read blueprints and coordinate with customers.
• Instruct and mentor apprentices and helpers during installation.
• Read construction drawings and wiring diagrams; assist with panel hookups and fixture installs.

The Role:

The Electrical Foreman is responsible for leading the install of your assigned electrical project, along with training and teaching apprentices and helpers..

What You'll Do:

• Supervise personnel completing electrical building projects
• Assigning tasks, inspecting electricians' work, monitoring team performance, reading blueprints, making sure quality standards are respected, and handling customer relations
• Thorough knowledge in the electrical trade
• Cutting, bending, threading and installation of EMT conduit of all sizes
• Experience bending offsets, 3 points, 4 points, saddles, kicks, 90's, etc.
• Ability to read blueprints, wiring diagrams, submittals, etc.
• Assisting in hooking up/terminating electrical panels, set fixtures, and various electrical devices
• Experience seeing installs from start to finish
• Ability to read and interpret construction/coordination drawings and blueprints
• Ability to instruct and teach the above tasks.
• Work as a trainer and mentor for helpers and apprentices
• Must have a valid driver's license and dependable transportation
