Job summary

Premier Power Maintenance is seeking an entry‑level Electrical Technician to perform electrical apparatus work onsite at customer facilities, including testing, preventative maintenance, commissioning, upgrades, and repairs. The role requires compliance with safety standards and willingness to travel within a 60‑mile radius of the regional office.

You will assist in troubleshooting, reading schematics, and performing tests for transformers, cables, and circuit breakers, with training provided on

Qualifications

• Requires a High School Diploma or GED.
• Bachelor’s or Associate Degree in Electrical/Electronic Technology, or Military experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in mechanical and electrical tasks on equipment in power transmission, distribution, and generation at customer facilities.
• Troubleshoot, repair, replace, and clean components in a substation.
• Participate in installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical equipment.
• Attend safety meetings and trainings.
• Be willing to relocate within 60 miles of regional office.
• Overtime, night/weekend work and travel on overnight projects may be required.
