Premier Power Maintenance is seeking a Field Service Technician to perform electrical apparatus work onsite at customer facilities in Frederick, MD. The role involves testing, preventative maintenance, commissioning, upgrades, and repairs to electrical equipment.

You will read manuals and schematics to troubleshoot, perform transformer, cable, and circuit breaker testing, and participate in installation and repair activities. Overtime, travel, and safety training are part of the duties.

Qualifications

• Requires a High School Diploma or GED, preferred Electrical/Electronic tech degree or military experience.
• Experience with electrical substation testing, construction, maintenance, troubleshooting, assembly, and commissioning is preferred but not required.
• Introductory position with emphasis on learning and growth.

Responsabilités

• Assist in mechanical and electrical tasks on equipment at customer facilities.
• Read manuals, schematics, and diagrams to troubleshoot equipment problems.
• Troubleshoot, repair, replace, and clean all components in a substation.
• Participate in installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical equipment.
• Attend safety meetings and trainings and maintain documentation.
