Job summary

Kiewit is seeking Electrical Superintendents to lead industrial and advanced technology projects across the United States, including Honolulu. You’ll supervise field crews, manage schedules, and coordinate with contractors on multi-location jobs.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years experience as General Foreman or Superintendent.
• Experience managing union labor is a plus.
• Direct and supervise crews.
• Broad understanding of electrical systems (underground, instrumentation, above ground).
• Experience with 20–50 craft employees and travel/relocation nationwide.
• Proficient with Microsoft Excel and Word.

Responsibilities

• Supervise small to medium size construction projects.
• Perform daily inspections of work for safety, quality, and productivity.
• Act as liaison between contractors.
• Solve problems that arise.
• Establish budgetary guidelines and ensure cost control.
• Provide job safety training and awareness.
• Establish quality standards and QA against company standards.
• Develop and manage job schedules and coordinate with contractors and deliveries; ensure inspections are scheduled.
