Job summary

Kiewit is seeking Electrical Superintendents to lead industrial and advanced technology projects across the U.S. This role requires overseeing safety, quality, and productivity while managing 20–50 craft employees and coordinating with contractors nationwide.

Eligible candidates will have five or more years as General Foreman or Superintendent, travel willingness, and the ability to relocate as needed. Relocation assistance and per diem are available for suitable projects.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years experience as General Foreman or Superintendent.
• Experience managing union labor is a plus.
• Direct and supervise crews.
• Broad understanding of technical electrical systems, including underground, instrumentation, and above-ground installations.
• Willing to travel and relocate nationwide.
• Must be able to access all points of a construction site.

Responsibilities

• Supervise small to mid-size construction projects.
• Perform daily inspections for safety, quality, and productivity.
• Act as liaison between contractors.
• Solve problems that arise.
• Establish budgetary guidelines and ensure cost control.
• Provide job safety training and awareness.
• Establish quality standards and QA.
• Develop and manage job schedules; coordinate with contractors and deliveries; ensure inspections are scheduled.
