Job summary

Kiewit is seeking an experienced Superintendent to lead electrical, mechanical, and civil scope on self-performed construction projects in the Industrial and Water markets. You will supervise foremen and craft workers, oversee safety, quality and schedule adherence, and travel to project sites across the United States.

You will coordinate with field engineering, craft teams, and clients to resolve challenges, manage budgets, and develop effective job schedules.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in self-perform construction with 3+ years in a Superintendent role.
• Knowledge of state license requirements for journeyman to apprentice ratios.
• Strong leadership and mentoring abilities.
• Proven ability to manage safety, schedule, quality and cost controls.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Willingness to travel to project sites.

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical, mechanical, civil/sctructural scope as Superintendent, manage foremen and craft workers.
• Coordinate with field engineering and crafts to ensure drawings/specs compliance.
• Interface with other superintendents, subcontractors, clients; ensure schedule adherence.
• Resolve conflicts and scheduling difficulties; inform management.
• Assist in schedule planning and material/equipment requirements.
• Ensure safety, attendance, workplace behavior per policies.
• Manage budgets and provide job safety training.
• Develop and manage job schedules and coordinate deliveries.
