Job summary

Vertiv in Ohio is seeking a Field Service Technician responsible for installation, commissioning, and service on UPS, Power Distribution Units, and battery systems (2-120KVA). The role emphasizes on-site support, adherence to safety guidelines, and collaboration with customers, sales reps, and colleagues.

Travel is required; candidates must have a valid driver's license and be able to pass drug tests and background checks.

Qualifications

• ASEET or AMEET, or progress towards, is preferred.
• 4+ years military experience in a related technical field.
• 2+ years of relevant industry experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform service tasks as assigned and as per company policies and procedures
• Render on-site and phone assistance to customers
• Communicate with Technical Support on technical or procedural issues
• Implement Field Change Notices per published guidelines
• Keep current on Safety Bulletins, Safety Field Change Notices, Field Change Notices, and Service Tips
