Job summary

POWERX in Austin, TX seeks a Field Service Manager to lead the Testing Department, drive safety and performance, mentor technicians, and coordinate with Accounting, Sales, and HR to achieve department goals.

The ideal candidate will have NETA Level III or higher certification, 5+ years in electrical testing or engineering, and at least 3 years of supervision, with a people-first approach and strong problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of technical experience in Electrical Testing or Electrical Engineering.
• 3+ years of supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations of the Testing Department and ensure high-quality service.
• Provide mentorship and training for Testing Department personnel.
• Maintain proper documentation of procedures and datasheets, and promote safety culture.
• Coordinate with Accounting/Finance, Sales, and HR to align department goals.
• Support technical questions from customers, sales, subcontractors, or vendors.
