Job summary

Electric Power Systems (EPS) is a NETA-accredited independent electrical testing and engineering organization serving data centers, utilities, and industrial facilities across North America.

The Operations Manager oversees day-to-day local office operations, safety performance, scheduling, and financial results, leading field technicians and project execution to deliver high-quality, NETA-compliant services.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years' experience in electrical equipment testing and inspection.
• B.S. in Electrical Engineering or associate’s degree preferred.
• NETA Certification a plus.
• Proficiency with Doble Power Factor Test and related test equipment.
• Excellent management and supervisory skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Superior Safety record.
• Experience with transformers, circuit breakers, switchgear and relays.
• Experience with budget and profit/loss responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily operations of the local office, including scheduling and resource allocation.
• Drive technician productivity and efficient project execution.
• Ensure work meets NETA standards, project specifications, and client expectations.
• Manage office-level financial performance and forecasting.
• Champion a strong safety culture and OSHA compliance.
• Hire, train, and develop field service staff.
• Interface with clients to develop solutions and drive growth.
• Coordinate with regional leadership and report KPIs.
