Job summary

Electric Power Systems (EPS) is a NETA-accredited independent electrical testing and engineering organization. The Field Technician III leads crews, performs advanced testing and maintenance, and supports commissioning and critical field operations across North America.

The role emphasizes safety, technical leadership, and collaboration with engineers and project teams. EPS offers competitive pay, development opportunities, and per diem for travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelors or Associates degree in Electrical/Electronic technology or military experience preferred.
• 5+ years relevant industry experience.
• NETA II certification; industry certs encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to safety policies and PPE usage across the team.
• Lead field testing, inspection, and maintenance of high/medium/low voltage equipment.
• Troubleshoot electrical and control system issues using schematics and diagrams.
• Coordinate daily field activities with engineers and project managers.
• Mentor and train junior technicians on best practices.
