Job summary

nVent is seeking a Field Service Coordinator to plan, coordinate, and support field service activities for medium voltage switchgear and related equipment. You will liaise with customers, field technicians, project managers, and site leaders to ensure safe, timely, and compliant execution of services.

The role emphasizes coordinating installation, testing, warranty work, and repairs, while managing parts, equipment rentals, and safety training across projects.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Engineering Technology, Business, Project Management, Electrical Technology, or related field preferred.
• 3–5 years of field service coordination, project coordination, or related industry experience preferred.
• Knowledge of medium voltage switchgear and electrical distribution systems preferred.
• Experience coordinating field technicians, contractors, or service personnel.
• Understanding of warranty processes, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis preferred.
• OSHA safety knowledge and practices are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate field service activities for installation, testing, warranty work, repairs, and punch list closure.
• Serve as primary liaison between customers, technicians, project managers, and internal teams.
• Schedule and dispatch technicians based on project needs, skills, and location.
• Maintain field service schedules to meet customer commitments and milestones.
• Monitor project status and communicate changes to stakeholders.
• Identify parts, materials, and rental equipment required for field services.
• Ensure safety training, certifications, and site PPE requirements are met.
• Document service calls, technician reports, and warranty claims.
