Job summary

nVent is seeking a Field Service Coordinator to plan, coordinate, and support field service activities for installation, testing, warranty work, and repairs of medium voltage switchgear. You will liaise between customers, field technicians, project managers, and internal departments to ensure safe, efficient project execution.

Ideal candidates have 3–5 years in field service coordination, knowledge of electrical distribution equipment, and strong organizational skills.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Engineering Technology, Business, Project Management, Electrical Technology, or related field.
• 3–5 years of field service coordination or related experience.
• Knowledge of medium voltage switchgear and electrical distribution systems.
• Experience coordinating field technicians or service personnel.
• Familiarity with warranty processes, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis.
• OSHA safety knowledge and proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, Teams).

Responsibilities

• Coordinate field service activities for switchgear installation, testing, warranty work, repairs, and punch list completion.
• Schedule and dispatch technicians based on project requirements and location.
• Maintain field service schedules and communicate updates to stakeholders.
• Ensure safety training and certifications are up to date for site personnel.
• Maintain service records and track project metrics.
