Job summary

Gaylor Electric, Inc. is seeking a Field Supervisor to provide leadership, management and supervision for electrical projects in the commercial and industrial sectors.

You will oversee safe installations, alterations, additions, and repairs of electrical systems and equipment. Candidates must complete an electrical apprenticeship and have four or more years of field supervision experience; strong interpersonal, communication, organizational and computer skills are essential for success in this

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent experience.
• Completion of an approved electrical apprenticeship program.
• Four or more years of field supervision/management experience.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ability to manage teams of electricians and complete projects on time and within budget.
• Supervise field personnel, typically a team of 20+ employees, and motivate crews to meet goals.
• Lead crews of apprentices and journeypersons, delegating tasks to align with objectives.
• Lay out project work and coordinate scheduling of materials, tools, and equipment.
• Oversee field installations, trade contractors, and ensure projects stay within parameters.
• Foster strong client relationships and ensure satisfaction with project outcomes.
• Ensure adherence to SOPs, project costs, time constraints, and quality standards.
• Conduct annual performance evaluations and report to Field Supervisor/Project Manager.
• Engage with owners, architects, engineers, and vendors involved in project activities.
• Maintain required licensing and training.
