Job summary

SOLV Energy is seeking an Assistant Electrical Superintendent to oversee electrical projects on a full-time basis at job sites. The role requires coordinating with project and engineering teams, enforcing safety, and leading field teams to meet project milestones.

The position requires travel, with a focus on utility-scale solar projects nationwide. Applicants must have extensive PV solar experience and the ability to manage multiple crews across sites, ensuring quality and compliance with

Qualifications

• 5+ years of field construction experience at supervisory level.
• 3+ years experience in utility scale solar.
• Knowledge of OSHA laws, NFPA 70E, NEC standards and codes.
• Knowledge of job scheduling, planning, expediting and cost control.
• 2+ years utility-scale solar commissioning experience.
• Strong problem-solving ability and urgency.
• Extensive knowledge of PV solar systems and DC cable systems.

Responsibilities

• Supervise electrical projects to ensure successful completion.
• Enforce safety procedures and participate in safety training.
• Coordinate all aspects of constructability for electrical scope of utility-scale solar projects.
• Review contracts, drawings, schedules and submittals with project and engineering teams.
• Support CPM schedules and ensure milestones are met.
• Recruit, train and coordinate field construction teams and subcontractors.
