Job summary

SOLV Energy is seeking an Assistant Electrical Superintendent to supervise electrical projects on utility-scale solar, storage, and HV substations. The role is based on-site at Pekin, IL with travel to multiple project sites.

You will coordinate field teams, enforce safety, review drawings and schedules, mentor crew, and ensure quality, schedule, and cost targets are met. Strong leadership and OSHA/NFPA/NEC knowledge required; travel fully expensed.

Qualifications

• Prefer 5 years’ field construction supervisory experience.
• Prefer 3 years’ utility-scale solar experience.
• Knowledge of OSHA, NFPA 70E, and NEC standards.

Responsibilities

• Supervise electrical subcontractors and field crews.
• Coordinate preconstruction through site build-out with teams.
• Maintain schedules, safety, and quality standards.
• Lead commissioning and turnover to Owner.
