Job summary

SOLV Energy is seeking an Electrical Superintendent to supervise field construction on utility-scale solar, battery storage and HV substation projects nationwide. You will lead electrical teams, enforce safety, manage CPM schedules, review technical submittals, and maintain strong owner/subcontractor relationships.

Ideal candidates have extensive electrical construction experience, MV testing knowledge, and travel flexibility.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years supervisory field construction experience; 10 years preferred with extensive electrical construction experience.
• Utility-scale solar construction experience strongly preferred (≥5 years).
• Knowledge of OSHA, NFPA 70E, NEC and IEEE standards is required.
• Experience with job scheduling, planning, expediting, and cost control.
• Experience with MV testing/terminations and PV solar systems is highly desirable.
• STSC Certification or ability to obtain within 6 months of employment.

Responsibilities

• Supervise electrical projects to ensure successful completion across multiple sites.
• Enforce safety procedures and participate in safety programs.
• Manage CPM schedules to ensure timely, cost-effective delivery.
• Review contracts, drawings, specs, and submittals from preconstruction to turnover.
• Build strong relationships with Owners, Architects, Engineers and subcontractors.
• Recruit, train, mentor, and evaluate field personnel including Supervisors and foremen.
• Coordinate field construction activities and ensure compliance with standards.
• Lead electrical subcontractors, testing agencies, and commissioning teams.
• Ensure timely project close-out and owner acceptance.
