Job summary

Bechtel Corporation is seeking a Construction Lead Electrical Field Engineer to oversee electrical construction engineering at a New Albany, Ohio site for Phase 1 of the Ohio One project. You will interpret drawings, manage cable installations, verify materials, and provide technical direction to field personnel to ensure conformance with design.

The role requires coordinating design issues with engineering, establishing deliverables, and controlling electrical cost, procurement, and schedules

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering required with 8–10 years of relevant experience or 12–14 years total.
• Experience in electrical design, installation, testing, and field verification.
• Familiarity with Bechtel standards, quality and ES&H commitments.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate electrical design/field issues for installation, testing, and grounding.
• Develop cost estimates and track progress for electrical construction activities.
• Direct requisitions, material substitutions and field equipment procurement.
• Ensure construction operations comply with engineering design and specs.
• Interface with Project Engineer on deliverables and scheduling with subcontractors.
