Job summary

Nextlink is seeking a hands-on Field Operations: Electrical Technician to support outdoor installations and maintenance across our service areas. You will load/unload equipment, dig trenches, install conduits, set poles and meters, and ensure safe operation at heights up to 200 feet, under supervision and in a team environment.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver's license, the ability to pass drug and background checks, and willingness to travel up to 50% with

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required.
Ability to lift/pull heavy equipment; work outdoors.
Pass drug screen and background check.
Valid driver's license with clean record.
Able to climb roofs and towers up to 200 feet.

Responsibilities

Load/unload equipment and materials.
Dig trenches or run underground electrical conduit.
Set poles and meter bases; install electrical services.
Learn and perform conduit bending/installation.
Climb towers and roofs; work at elevated heights.
Operate hand and power tools; maintain safety.
Travel 50% with overnight stays as required.
