Job summary

Nextlink is seeking a Field Operations technician to install and maintain wireless tower electronics and hardware at customer sites in Texas. The role involves climbing towers, running cables, and ensuring safety standards on each job.

Candidate must be able to work outdoors, pass drug screening and background checks, and have a valid driver's license. On-call rotation and overtime are possible with full-time hours.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Familiar with basic hand tools and electro-mechanical equipment.
• Willingness to undergo drug screening and background check.

Responsibilities

• Install tower site electronics, cabling, and electrical components.
• Climb towers up to 500 feet to install and repair antennas.
• Run power, ground, fiber, Cat5e and coaxial cables; adjust antennas.
• Complete Job Safety Analysis (JSA) before climbs.
• Inspect work for safety, proper fastenings and weatherproofing.
• Take site photos and document outages or progress.
