Job summary

Nextlink Internet is seeking a Field Operations: Electrical professional to install and maintain high‑voltage electrical systems in outdoor environments. You will lay conduit, pull wires, and set poles and meters while adhering to safety and regulatory standards.

You must have a high school diploma or GED, be able to pass drug and background checks, possess a valid driver’s license, and be prepared for 50% travel and outdoor work in varied weather conditions.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
• Able to pass drug screening and a criminal background check.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Willingness to travel about 50% for overnight assignments.
• Able to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Dig trenches or install underground electrical conduits.
• Load/unload equipment and materials for daily tasks.
• Pull wires and install electrical services.
• Learn to bend and install conduit and set pole/meter bases.
• Set and wire cabinets and foundations for electrical systems.
• Work from ladders/towers and perform duties at elevated heights.
• Identify and document turnover information; maintain safety practices.
