Job summary

Primoris Energy Services in the United States is seeking a Field Engineer to provide planning and technical support to the construction team. The role focuses on resolving technical issues at the work front and managing work packaging and status updates.

You will conduct site inspections, work with WorkFace Planning, and assist with Change Orders, quality control, and project manager tasks as needed.

Qualifications

• BS Mechanical, Civil, or Electrical Engineering or relevant equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of field engineering experience in power generation, petrochemical, or similar industrial projects.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with engineering, scheduling and project management software tools is an advantage.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Team-oriented with collaborative approach.

Responsibilities

• Oversee field operations to complete projects on time and within budget.
• Provide technical support, generate RFIs, review specs/drawings.
• Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance and identify issues.
• Plan work packages aligned with project schedule.
• Prepare project status reports addressing schedule, progress, staffing, safety and issues.
• Coordinate with project managers, contractors, and stakeholders.
• Maintain project documentation and review drawings/submittals.
• Ensure safety compliance and quality control.
