Job summary

Sundt Enterprise seeks an entry-level Project Engineer to assist in developing and maintaining drawings, submittals, and change orders on active projects. You will support the project management plan and budgeting efforts, while reinforcing safety and quality controls on site.

The role involves BIM coordination, LEED documentation, and regular field support to ensure project objectives are met efficiently.

Qualifications

• Entry-level position that normally requires a four-year construction-related degree or equivalent technical/field experience.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Assist Project Engineer in developing and maintaining as-built drawings, submittals, change orders, RFl's, and budget forecasting.
• Support the project management plan and change management processes.
• Help ensure compliance with the project quality management plan and promote a safety culture on site.
• Assist in calculating daily production rates and unit costs for self-performed work.
• Oversee BIM coordination between subcontractors and designers as needed.
• Support documentation for LEED Certification and updates to Digital Record Drawings (ORD).
• Provide lines, grades, and layout as required and keep an organized logbook.
• Generate weekly quantity logs and assist budgeting and cost-control efforts.
• Support superintendents in resolving field problems.
