Job summary

Sundt Enterprise is seeking an entry-level Field Engineer to assist the Project Engineer as the technical source of information for the project. You will respond to questions about drawings, specifications, shop drawings, and change orders and have responsibility for assisting in writing change orders, RFl's, meeting minutes, and reviewing Submittals.

Maintains an effective and professional working relationship with owners, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction or a related field is required.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and related productivity tools.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing and maintaining as-built drawings and submittals.
• Support and execute the project management plan and change processes.
• Administer the project quality management plan and promote safety.
• Assist in calculating daily production rates and unit costs for self-performed work.
• Coordinate BIM coordination between subcontractors and designers.
• Prepare and update LEED ORD documentation and digital record drawings.
• Provide lines, grades and layout as required for the project.
• Maintain quantity logs and assist budgeting and cost control.
• Support superintendents in resolving field problems.
