Job summary

Sundt Enterprise is seeking a Project Engineer Assistant to support the project team with technical information, drawings, change orders, RFIs, submittals and meeting minutes. The role advances through three steps (I, II and Senior) reflecting growing responsibility and skill.

Qualifications

• Entry-level position requiring a four-year construction-related degree or equivalent field experience.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Ability to interface with owners, architects, engineers and subcontractors.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Project Engineer as the technical information source for the project.
• Support development and maintenance of as-built drawings and submittals.
• Assist in change orders, RFIs, meeting minutes and budget forecasting.
• Manage documentation and submittals, and ensure timely distribution and storage.
• Support BIM coordination between subcontractors and designers.
• Assist in LEED certification documentation and ORD updates where applicable.
• Provide lines, grades and layout as required and maintain a project logbook.
• Assist with weekly quantity tracking and cost control activities.
• Support superintendents and help resolve field problems as needed.
