Job summary

Sundt Enterprise in Irvine, CA seeks an entry-level Field Engineer who will support the Project Engineer as the technical information source on the project. You will respond to questions about drawings, specifications, submittals, and change orders, and help write RFl's, meeting minutes, and LEED documentation.

This role progresses through steps I, II and Senior, with growth in BIM coordination, ORD updates, and cost control reporting.

Qualifications

• Entry-level position requiring a four-year construction-related degree or equivalent experience.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
• Ability to interface and communicate with others.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing as-built drawings and processing submittals, change orders, RFl's, and reports.
• Support the project management plan and change management processes.
• Administer the project quality management plan and promote safety culture.
• Assist in estimating daily production and unit costs; support cost control.
• Coordinate BIM coordination between Subcontractors and Designers.
• Assist with LEED documentation and ORD updates.
• Provide lines, grades, and layout; maintain a project logbook.
• Support superintendents in resolving field problems.

Education
