Job summary

Sundt Enterprise is seeking an entry-level Project Engineer assistant to support the project team on technical information and drawing-related tasks. You will respond to drawings, specs, shop drawings, and change orders while assisting in meeting minutes, submittals, and LEED documentation where needed.

The role progresses through three steps (I, II, Senior) with increasing responsibility. A four-year construction-related degree or equivalent field experience is required, along with proficiency

Qualifications

• Ability to assume responsibility and communicate with others.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing and maintaining drawings and submittals, change orders, RFIs, and budget forecasts.
• Support project management plan understanding and change management processes.
• Support quality management and safety culture on the project.
• Assist with production rate estimates, cost control, and risk management; coordinate BIM among subs and designers.
• Assist in LEED ORD documentation and digital record drawings where needed.
• Provide lines, grades, and layout for the project as required.
• Prepare weekly quantities and logs; assist budgeting and cost control efforts.
• Support superintendents to resolve field issues.
